History

The Latin American Cultural Center of Queens was created in 1993 to serve the very diverse Latino population in Queens, which is rapidly increasing and currently comprises approximately 28% of the borough’s two million inhabitants. The LACCQ was established to promote and preserve the Latin American culture and civilization, and it aims to meet the educational and cultural needs of the Latino community in Queens.

The Center’s Board of Directors includes professionals from various walks of life.
